Alone At The Beach Poem by M.J. Lemon

Alone At The Beach

Rating: 5.0

Alone at the beach
with hundreds surrounding me
Calm asserts itself
Cruise ships crawl seawards
Starfish grapple tiny fry
Gulls circle above
Sun rays caress kelp
Incoming waves unsettle
The tide comes closer
The old crab trap sinks
New sailboats disturb bitterns
Time to face traffic

You have a beach you can go to, LeeAnn? I'm jealous!
