Paul H Nelson
Alone Again
Alone again, just me and me
Sometimes a man can barely see
And then the tears they come streaming
All these years and I'm still dreaming
A life and world I almost knew
Leaves me so sad and really blue
Until I look at another
And see the life of a brother
Gone so terribly wrong and bad
Found out he had no mom or dad
His loneliness is oh so real
He will forage for his next meal
I helped this kind soul to his feet
Out came his hand, his name was Pete
I never saw him there again
Who knows what he did with my ten
