Poems by Matthias Pantaleon : 10 / 105
ALONE
Alone, in a cold room
Am locked up against myself
Shut out from the world
Like a tear drop in a sea
Alone, am like a tree
In the desert;
No leave to shade
No branch for a bird to peach
No wind to dust my hair
No rain to wash my feet
Just me as mean as sunray!
Alone, keeping memories
That refused to be forgotten!
