Alone Poem by Tim Holmes Jr

Alone

Alone... how I was born
Alone... when I learned to crawl
Alone... then I started to speak
Alone... is how a grew
Alone... is how you meet me
Alone... is a comfortable feeling
Alone... In my own mind
Alone... with compassionless people all around me
Alone... with no one to understand me
Alone... cause I can't be accepted to how I am
Alone... my insecurities never let me feel safe
Alone... with no where to run no where to hide
Alone... is how you make me feel, but you claim to love me
Alone... in a house full of things that don't feel like home
Alone... like an island all I see is water and a reflection of self
Alone... is best in the end I guess
Alone... is how we die and there is nothing else

This is so lovely. There's a new collection Soul Etchings. It portrays Originality, Style and a refreshing sense of form. These poets may be the future of Poetry, you can get it here goo.gl/KkhYF0

Very true! We all will take that final journey alone.
