All We Used To Be Poem by Silence Dogood

We were once friends the greatest of them all.
When I was down I knew just who to call.
You were always there like the brother I never had.
Around you it was impossible to ever feel sad.

We had alot of memories and alot of good times.
When I said I was okay I was acctually fine.
Because with you it was okay it was finally alright.
In the darkness you had been my shining light.

But times have changed the good times are gone.
Calling you now just seems a little wrong.
Its not that I hate you were just yesterday.
Our frienship has ended we've faded away.

I'll never know why this had to be.
I havent changed Im still me.
Maybe it was the new grade or the new school.
But talking to you now makes seem like a fool.

Maybe its a new guy and girl thats changed it all.
Maybe theres a new boy I always want call.
All I know is that times have changed.
We may have grown but were still the same.

Just a little girl and a boy with a smile.
That made everything in life feel worth while.
So as you move on remember me.
Remeber us and all we used to be.
