All Things Come Poem by Francis Duggan

All Things Come

For everyone against you there is one on your side
And you always hold your head high for you too have your pride
You find life a great battle 'tis uphill all of the way
But all things come to those who wait a wise one once did say,
Yes all things come to those who wait those words ring ever true
And one day you will receive the credit you are due
So many worse off than you and their prime years long gone
But they do not quit the struggle and they keep on keeping on,
You have to follow your dream though the uphill climb is tough
But you can prove to your doubters that you are good enough
All things come to those who wait a very wise one said
And your tougher days behind you and your better days ahead
Under great stress and pressure true courage you do show
But you will reach your summit though your climb is tough and slow.
