time tells story's
long and short
some of great measure
some the fade away

who ever said
you won't be important
you could be whoever
but it takes time

time is full of hello's
and full of good-bye's
don't let one rule you
you need both this you'll see

you will be strong
you will stand tall
some will be knocked down
but others will withstand the fight

I know it all seems silly
I thought so too
but it's true
it took me a while to see

a good life has ups and downs
has hello's and good-bye's
has gained a love
and has been broken hearted

but through the fires
is a light for you
whatever you've been through
it will matter no more

so be brave
in time you'll see
you were meant
to be as great as can be

sure others may try
to knock you down
but that's when you stand tall
and be all you can be

what's life if you don't try
in time you'll know the truth
like they say
'when one door closes...'

who am I to tell you this
but who are you not to listen
you will find your way
all it takes is time.
