A mother's cry

Voracious beasts at your door
Violent pictures in the news

Open your eyes to see past that all
Orate words to change it all

Inside all of us lies a change
Intestinal fortitude is not all it is about

Can you not rise above?
Courageous words to change the world

Extra time spent on others
Energy never wasted on the greater good

It takes a voice to raise a world back on its feet. Be that voice, challenge the world, and challenge yourself.
