All In The Day Poem by Lento Maez

All In The Day

Rating: 5.0

Clear skies at sunrise
Birds are singing
Bells are ringing
Children are swinging

It’s a good day to write
A cute fairy tale
Or a poem that can sail
About friends without fail

What else can one do
Before the day is through
Perhaps sing a song
But hopefully not too long

The sun is setting
The children are fretting
The day was soon over
No more playing red-rover

All adults are in be
What more can be said
