All I Need Poem by Leslie Alexis

All I Need

Rating: 5.0

Shh… don’t speak,
Don’t move, only breathe
Shh.. don’t speak
Don’t move, let me read...
Shh... don’t speak
Don’t move, you’re all I need.

Don’t speak, for you’ve spoken such sweet love
That I fear it was a dream and might leave
Like passing birds

Don’t move, for you touched me, with a touch
That was much more than a million touches
From queens and beauties

Breathe, for the motions of your breath
Are like the pull of the moon and I want
To be your tide

Let me read the songs and the bellows
Of your heart, as they resound on the surface
Of your warm skin

You’re all I need; upon this earth you are my stay.
I'm fastened onto your love - you are my stay!
I love you more each day.
