All I Can Do Poem by Invalid Files

All I Can Do

A jolt of thought rack my body,
A strong gust of life
Two rivers flow down my cheek,
I stand unwavering, on my feet,
Arms spread to catch the wind,
All the way to my fingertips,
Something is overflowing,
A spring of freshwater
Deep inside of me,
Too much to be contained,
Confined in this body of mine,
The voice of my heart,
Too loud for my ears,
The shine of the love,
Too bright for my eyes,
All I can do
Is let the tears become an ocean
To connect the gap between you and me

Oceans have never acted as a connection, yet through your poetry, you made it possible for the first time. Enjoy your bridge.
