All Bottled Up Poem by Nicole Gehrman

All Bottled Up

Rating: 4.8

eyes staring blankly at the screen
ears open to the conversation beyond her world
hand slowly squeezing,
as the harsh words flow to her.
glass shatters,
spilling down around the floor by her feet.
blood slowly oozing from tiny cuts
glass embeded deep in her skin
tears streaming down her face
blurring the truth
words coming from her mouth
rage mixing with the harsh words
telling the beloved family what actually happened.
blood dripping on the floor
fingers pointing at the the one called father.
setting him straight, bloking his words.
love burning deep in her veins with the memory
as she brings it all back and shouts in his face
no time for a breath
she wont let him judge any more.
suddenly sobbing, wanting to take back the pain.
willing to give it up
wanting the father to feel what she feels.
making him realize the pain he dug up with his accusing words.
jolted awake...
reality dawning...
real tears now flowing...

Again, this is so sad. I understand why though. This seems to be a common theme in your poems. But, you know it so well, and express it beautifully, so, I'd keep workin with it.
