All Along Poem by cheryl davis miller

All Along

Just empty words that's all they are
You have no heart to touch.
Finally now I realise
I've loved you far to much.

`````````````````````````````````````
Try as I may to walk away
I come back once again,
to have you turn a deafened ear
again to me my friend.
`````````````````````````````````````

Maybe there's something wrong with me,
what makes me love so strong?
It's plain to see; at least to me
you've fooled me all along.

`````````````````````````````````````
