Alive And All's Well Poem by Francie Lynch

Alive And All's Well

They say the Bard's been dead four hundred years,
But every time I attend the Stratford Festival,
He struts upon the stage,
Fretting about our human condition,
Our foibles and grandness,
Like a caring parent.
Dead four hundred years?
Don't believe it for a second.
