Algonquin Canada Poem by William Cavanagh

Algonquin Canada

Rating: 5.0

The purity the palette
The budding the gain
The green of a forest in spring

The depth the demise
The gleam the glint
The measure of white water that runs

The fowl the mite
The flight the bite
The spell of a midsummer’s lid

The vision the view
The tone the tag
The blaze of each entire day

The feel the fret
The desire the dreams
The assurance of profound moonlight

From the known to the unknown
To the future from the past
The joy of my journey within
