Alcoves That Bear Brunt Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Alcoves That Bear Brunt

Alcoves that bear brunt
To thousands of
Whispers:
On lone nights rare
Of cold and frost
Yet
Also in summer steam
As arrows in the heart
The echoes saunter
In the solitariness
Figures dark and rattling
Pass by nights
