Alas! Poem by warner keisham

Alas!

Alas!

There is no remedy.
Left me behind by my lady;
Alas, my pains are so strong;
I am old enough for my life to prolong!

Recall an old song
Written by my father long
time ago; let me be asleep in my Graveyard
not to wake up again; nor to dream; nor to play life’s card!

Memory of Pass nails me down
Woeful sound my heart sings in this town.
Loneliness tolls on,
With fear of separation!

Blame on Thou,
For lying alone, aside, now.
This situation being anguished,
Seems a betrayal upon my financial status!

I know not to morn;
My soul should turn on
With Self start; not by explaining
Thou art strange; nor by backstabbing!
