Alan And Kate Poem by Francis Duggan

Alan And Kate

For them 'twas love at first sight and they get along just great
And life together beautiful for Alan and for Kate
They plan to wed in the fall of 03 and they've already set the date
And their love for each other in the presence of their friends they'll celebrate.

Two kind and loving people a common bond they share
And they go well together they make a perfect pair
They've found love in each other and for true love 'twas worth the wait
She has in him her ideal man and he's found his soul mate.

Their great love for each other will withstand the test of time
And stories like their's of undying passion have inspired the bards to rhyme
In a World where relationships are crumbling and conflict seem to thrive
They will remain together and their union will survive.

They have found love in each other and to each other they'll stay true
And their story is a great one and stories like their's far too few
And in March of the year 03 they will celebrate
The love they have found in each other good things come to those who wait.
