Air The Love Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Air The Love

Rating: 4.5

“I love you, I love you” aired the words
It came back with sharpness of swords
It had cut across the mountains and came back with echo
It had sweetness and softness of black cuckoo

It had same magnitude and pulse
Words had come out with impulse
It needed some one honestly to hear
She must have heard it without any fear

I remembered golden words said so beautifully
I tried to grasp the meaning but couldn’t understand fully
May be it had deep meaning and I did not care
It was making me unhappy and leading no where

To love one another is simple and purest form
No one knows where it generates and come from
You need not love whole world and miss at home
See the reason behind, go for it and welcome

Were those words mere spoken for joy?
Was I out for it only to satisfy lust and enjoy?
It clearly said in short and conveyed the desire
There was no immediate response for me to admire

We can greet each other with smile
It may make us to think for while
Does the love have had so much potential?
Who prefers it first and put the initial?

Though I have lost all my dear ones in the crowd
I can’t open up freely and speak so loud
It may be wrong to expect anything from strangers
Love definitely makes the way and ward of any danger

You may pray for love and wealth
You may get money but loose the health
Money can be had later on in process
Failure in love may not save your face

I heard the love echo in isolation
It was exactly the same in revelation
It had deep impact on my mind
I was able to understand the meaning of its kind

Does the love rebound and send same waves?
Do we really fail to catch and cave in?
Is the love not universal to understand?
It doesn’t make foes but always friends

I touched my heart and decided to act fast
Love should be felt and to be heard till last
The sky is limited but horizons very vast
I should admit it and throw away the mask

It needs sincerity and in depth acceptance
You must express it with clear stance
Why do we hide it from people when it is real?
Give it fair trial and put the seal
