Aim For The Reaper Poem by Steven Elsner

Aim For The Reaper

Aim for the Grim Reaper,
Head for serene slumber, but deeper.
You're sure to stay; you're such a keeper,
I'll be there to combat the tears; you're no weeper.
Hush now, my darling,
Your eyes, they're sparkling.
I'll slumber by your side,
Now cast your soul into the tide.
Finally, you're off into the mist,
'Till next time, rejoice in this kiss.
Goodbye, my beloved.
