Ahhhh

I'm falling
and the tears
blur my eyes
fate has found me
I'm about to die
and then it happens
my arms turn into
wings and I swoop down
above the ground
only to land safely
Somehow.
I am an eagle now
and I jump into
the frosty fall air
and fly away
into the blue expanse
never once
looking back.
