'Aging' Poem by Marvin Brato Sr

'Aging'

Rating: 3.5

Often times the pain stings
Left part of the arm it clings
In the middle sternum lingers
Valve of aorta seems calcify
Infusing blood quite irregular
As life flows in intermittent.

Many times breath is shallow
Or becomes rapidly gasping
Risk is enclosing to the end
As though death is certain
Groping into myriad veins
And whispers sad lullaby.

Birth itself a mark of death
Reasons cannot even defy
A reality that is destined
That life has finite end
On earth for all of us.

Great truth spoken dear friend, Birth itself a mark of death Reasons cannot even defy A reality that is destined That life has finite end On earth for all of us Great truth dear friend, your wonderful poem brought again to light my old nightmare: am I this creature of shorten life right to shorten other's lives? Was this my destiny to bring death in the garden of my mother Earth? Thank you for sharing a very interesting poem, I learnt a few things.
