Agent Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Agent

Agent

"Solemnly I swear…"
-say agents before wear
-the sword, arch and spear
-or any duty uniform
-to do things, represent
-the leader, government
-or people…

They can be KGB, NSA; CIA
-or any of others of similar
-a police officer
-any of law-forcers
-anyone, anywhere

But they too are of us
-with feelings and senses
-with weakness and pride

They swear to be right
-tell truth
-nothing else

But what if they do take a paper?
-destroy, shred or get it burned?

In this case
-it is like
-my tearing dad's letter
-to Ahmad
-not lying but hiding…

This I see in many of reports
-on terror and the foes! ! !

I do not believe them!
-not trust
-not at all!

History is nothing
-but lying and hiding! ! !
-of greed and fears! ! !
