POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was in Cafe Royal in Newcastle today after doing some work at Sunderland uni & they have chocolate cake that tasted like Earl Grey tea that I tried some time ago. I remembered that sweet taste of Earl Grey leaves in cake mix. And that's when I decided to write this new haiku.
