Afterglow Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Afterglow

In the afterglow
I'm a zombie
don't you know
waiting in the darkness
Hoping you will show
The part you put inside
and kissed
and wrapped up with bow
with softest hands
delicate and loving
leaves today so hazy
life so uncertain
except for a shared moment
dared imagine
touched by care instead of woe...
Afterglow
