After Sun And Sea. Poem by john o'connell

After Sun And Sea.

Rating: 5.0

after sun and sea.

the rush to the station,
back to the town;
fish and chips
and white bread and butter;
ointment for the red patches,
cool sheets and contented dreams.

Hmmmm - I can relate to this cycle: -) and maybe some drizzle of rain too. I like the sensitivity you managed to convey here, of the simple and ordinary things around us - that make life enjoyable and comfortable. Great work John!
