After Obama Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

After Obama

After Obama

Let us be honest and clear
I feel against millionaires
I am a socialist by nature
seek justice, least levels.

Low in height-depth, steps.

Therefore I since childhood
to later, even now, or as youth
have always been, will be
against the filthy rich.

It is "ISM".

All of us in sixties, seventies
fought against, patriarchies
being in church or of wealth,
we ended the war of Vietnam.

With changes we made mess
today's youths are the same.

Who am I to confirm?
What am I to object?
How can I say yes, no?
I have to look at side.

I confess: "I was wrong, "
same can be, for them now.

Election is for them
like us they, are tired
of corrupt, corruption
let them choose, make mistake
let them fall, they will rise
fruit will taste too well or as shit.

I will talk only if
considered and questioned.

I am not prophet.
