After Great Struggle Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In any country’
It certainly adds misery
If people are taken to street
To ask for something which seems not fit reason?

Poverty is real curse
It should be eradicated of course
But fuel should not added to fire
Such steps can’t be admired

Is system has to be changed
It should be skillfully managed
The changes must be brought in with consensus
With inclusion of faith and trust

Public property must be spared
Damage to it should never be dared
Public should not be put to inconvenience
Looting, burning has to be stopped at once

We are all educated and tolerant people
We have gained freedom after great struggle
Let our efforts be aimed at maintaining the harmonious relation
That should be the basis for laying foundation
