After Da Storm Poem by Jeffrey Omarino

Just after the storm
comes the sun light to keep me warm
the pains you send me is no longer penetrating
as from negativity I now feel numb
why do you attack me so much
is it because you know the man am to become
I stand and fight these days
and no longer do I run,
you see am born in an amazing way with greatness.
I’ve got no where else to go but the top
because I’ve come a long way from the slump.
I’ve become more reserved
just so I can learn more
I’ve become so observant
I now take it as a chore,
I’ve become so focus
that I now know I can open more door.
