After All These Years

The great and powerful forces of nature have made us reconcile
Being alone in this world is not an option for me
I'd rather die in the midst of an unfortunate circumstance
I know precious things may not last forever
But as long as we're here
Let's make the best of what's happening now
Life is about change and prosperity
To stay alive we must conquer what we fear most
Love requires more than one strength
It takes two to stand tall against the wind
As the eagle soars high with tremendous pride
What a beauteous victory
For resilience is beauteous when all is possible
Behold the incredible spark that is resilience
Taking possibilities to a whole nother level
Of the things we perceive
How does it feel to be lost in each other's eyes
After all these years?

    This is a beautiful poem.
'I know precious things may not last forever
But as long as we're here
Let's make the best of what's happening now' - A very pragmatic view indeed.
'How does it feel to be lost in each other's eyes
After all these years? ' - What a powerful expression, my God! Full marks! 10/10

    Love requires strength of mind
    to see positively
    And expect the worst
    satisfy with what we have

Wow, you are a LOVER to the inth degree! I subscribe to your train of passion completely. This is a very strong poem merging two as one. i'd rather die than not have a partner to go thru the thrills and the trials. wonderful. I get it!
