After All These Years

Yellow sunshine sad
almost glad
almost...

I can feel you touching me
after all these years
I wonder how you are feeling now
I wonder where you are

Behind which star are you hiding
are we playing hide and seek

25 years ago gone, goodbye
Like a knife to my heart

But I bleed not-
long ago-
lost the last drop
a long time ago

Love is formidable yet the heart can succumb to sorrow when broken! Time will heal the wound, must move on! (Report) Reply

Memories never really fade away. They
remain in a special part of our mind. We
only sometimes think about it when an
event happens and it brings things past
to present. Love is one of those events.
A really good write this one is. We all can
    relate to this. (Report) Reply
