I'm an African child
That my father isn't slow to chide
Though some people take me for a ride
I can weather the storm and tide
I'm an African child
By my mother's side
The truth from her I can't hide
Cos I 'm mama's true child
I'm an African child
With a legal heritage
And I remain so till the end of age
And exert the world's stage
Nice poem. keep it up. Well done, Fiyinoluwa
