Affirmative Actions Poem by Tony Adah

Affirmative Actions

I was not there in Beijing
When this
Proclamation was made
I did not endorse it
My wife
A proxy signatory
Reminds me in time of it
In the bath, kitchen and car
It is thirty five percent
And above here
When next
I come to be
Here on earth
I will like
To be a woman.
