Affirm Poem by Midnight Clarity

just write they say
pound out the words
and let reality take shape
create the dream that drives you
erasing all that hampers
your pure imagination
don't think, just write
and so I do telling Spirit
empty arms are waiting to be filled
eyes overflow with visions
of perfection, future
getting closer to my present
present full of promise
in the corners of my day
I love the life inside my skin,
will keep it there
nailed into living by my dreams of night
and passion under mint green cotton
lulled by hissing sky tears on the leaves
that shift and shimmer to world breath
driving mine.
