Adults Like Children Poem by David N. Munene

Adults Like Children

The cry of a child
Should be taken as mild
But that of an adult?
Is like overwriting a cult!

Hate that you would be adult by nature
In appearance and stature
Yet you hold up childlike culture
You feed us with folly like agriculture

Punching holes, here and there
Amongst your colleagues; peer-to-peer
You love pain with others so near
Without shame and/or fear

Grow up, not only your rear
Grow in manner without sneer
