Addiction Is Addiction Is Addiction Is Addiction Poem by Alessandra Liverani

Addiction Is Addiction Is Addiction Is Addiction

Rating: 2.8

Addiction is addiction is addiction is addiction
3 parts fantasy and 3 parts fiction
Something which should be served a notice of eviction
Because all that it is is a freeloading friction

It's a pariah parasitical
A conning, conniving disease of level critical
That turns people into puppets pitiful
No longer complete individuals

Alessandra, I empathise totally. Having smoked for 50 years, and a nicotine addict because my mother smoked throughout the pregnancy, I went cold turkey, the only way for me,5 years ago. Do I feel better because for it? Not in your sweet Nellie, An adict is an adict is an adict! I'll always need to smoke but I dare not, that's the bottom line. Hang in, don't let the filthy habit beat you. Cheers, Jerry
