Addiction Poem by Brian Jefferson

Addiction

God must have had the image of an angel in his mind when he created you
Because your beauty is unattainable
I wanna get in touch with your mind, body, and soul
Can i swim in your mind
While treading through your thoughts
I'd like to read your body as if its own language
Learning your every movement
May I stare directly at your soul
So that when im aiming for it I know where to go
Hopefully these words have turned you on if not
Please tell me what will
Because I want you so bad I might kill
Let's be real I probably won't kill but I would surely steal
Your heart so that the two of us will never be apart
The minute I laid my eyes upon I knew it was the start
Better yet the ending of my quest for love
I'm not saying your love is a drug
But when I'm with you I feel higher than above
