Addiction Poem by Phil Panebianco

Addiction

People hate to admit to their addiction,
because it's something they cannot control.
Something they cannot figure out.
It can ruin every aspect of your life.
It's a disease that kills you slowly.
Ruining everything around you.
Everyone feels the effects of your problem.
The problem that drags you down into a bottomless pit of self destruction,
'All this just to fulfill your deadly crave? '
