On an April noon,
Cows beat the heat in still ponds;
Man swoons in hot winds.
Nice haiku, well crafted in juxtaposition verses....................10
Mamta ji, It's such a nice coincidence. Only yesterday I was telling my friend, while driving back home in hot Sun at about 12 PM, looking at the cattle in ponds, that I was very envious of them, You are an expert in catching even the most insignificant thing on earth and mould it into a poem. Kudos to you Madam
well, men can't go for muddy pools...a vivid village summer scene where cows and muddy pools are in plenty and power supply rare...a scenic haiku...10
Good feeling and observation... (I think the second line has 8 syllables as muddy = 2 syllables) . But I like the haiku! Cheers. Subroto
