Pardon madam,
I am Adam,
I look for Eve,
It is you, I believe?

I have her picture, you see her face,
Is like yours, in this case!
Yes, our smile are alike,
Even our dresses, are white!

So, maybe, I am Eve,
Would you believe?
So where have you been?
In the Thames basin?
I looked for you, everywhere,
With much love, and much care.

You had just vanished,
And I remained astonished !
What can I , Adam say ?
After loving you, day by day?

Dear Eve, tell me please,
What to do, in a moment like this?
To make you understand,
That I am for you .. here is my hand!

Maybe is it me, with my passion,
Or, maybe, just the occasion! ?

I remember that day, the apple,
That gave us knowledge, as in a fable,
To look at us, and see,
How life can be!

And how Venus , the beauty star,
Gave us a sweet kiss, being not so far,
And how God, may I say,
Said , that we must go away!

But now, as we are both, you and me,
Let's make our love, just be !
So our children , can say,
That life, isn't a play!
