Act of Goodness

Riches of being good
All if try can relish
Sweetness of life
are gathered in battlefield
To die a happy death one day
A hidden way to grave in mind
Declare the eternal will you say
To become the lover of mankind
This array of intriguing questions
has no meaning in answering them
They say their death is in question
show sanity in connecting them
When queries fly around a corpse
All replies get surrounded
Help us live long after our death
They will no longer survive on earth
Why do they care what people think about?

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
