Achievements
We have the existence of one million years
With so many achievements…
Ever increasing …
Anger, jealousy, vengeance, hostility,
Vulnerability, selfishness, violence, torture,
Intrigues, lust, vain ostentations, prejudice,
Loss of sense and lack of conscience
Baseless pride, hypocrisy…
We have polluted Aristotle’s five elements,
Snatched the right to live while we announce loudly –‘ live and let live’
Even most of our so-called eruditions among us have become best actors
By putting on masks of different types on ‘as and when required’ basis!
Such as...
Soft words, Love, universal fraternity, charity, altruism…
Who else could have?
Except the best creation (?) of Nature?
You are a fabulous poet and show so much feeling in your poems! Every word you write is true, and that is a rare, great gift. Keep on writing x
It is so true that we human beings were given a most wonderful gift which is the world around us, incuding each other, and we misuse and abuse both. I think this poem expresses this very well and with much feeling. If it were a petition you could add my name.

A distinct tone of satire is manifested with the hitherto feats achieved by the most intellectual creation of God (?) on earth. This poetic rendering is also a focus on the sham show of our modesty eventually we are facing in our relationships and dealings with each other.
