Accursed Fireballs Poem by Suman Kumar Das

Accursed Fireballs

How happy the stars are!
Sometimes arises jealousy
In helpless human heart.
Moreover they wish
To be silvery stars.

Perhaps sinful earthly stigma
Could not touch them.
They would always laugh, sparkle
And the world would see
Their ever-shining splendour.

But who knows?
The smiling stars
Far away from one another
Are leading lonely lives.

As prisoners in free sky
They don't have right
To cross own boundary.
All are accursed fireballs,
They don't glitter gladly,
Rather blaze bitterly whole life.
