Acceptance And Truth Poem by Mandi June

Acceptance And Truth

Rating: 5.0

I hope that goodness fills your life with everything you do
The laughter that you gift to those who mean the most to you
Will always be my weakness, for knowing that you're glad
In some ways makes me happy, not envious or mad.
The people that improve my life are more important now
Than any kind of damage that you think you caused somehow
I won't know why it happened, nor do I even care
I only hope that justice will be swift and more than fair.
We really aren't much different, you and I are much the same
For everyone has troubles; it's no use to point the blame
At something that is uncontrolled, but takes so much away
I only hope that you will find the path I have one day.

As a rhymer you are top notch. Your poetry shows much depth of thought and has great flow and cadence, very rare in the age of so called creative writing. Good work-keep at it
