Accept Me Poem by Tressa Carliss

Accept Me

Rating: 5.0

I am happy but at the same time miserable
I am sad but at the same time excited
I am me but at the same time not you
I am who God made.
So just accept me.

I am fun to be around but also bitchy
I am so unperfect but yet I accomplish things
I am determine but so unorganize
I am God's creation
So just accept me.

I am a daughter not a son
I am a niece not a nephew
I am your worst nightmare but your unforgettable dream
I am God's special masterpiece
There is only one me so accept me.

You complain about me now but look up to me later
You dont want to be around but can't stop thinking about me
You envy me because you respect me so
You respect me because I am me
You hate how i have accepted myself.

We are all different and that was God's masterpiece
No two people should be alike
I have accepted you with all your faults
And you turned out to be my mother
All I ask is that you accept me.
