The train-
Steamed off
Off the eyes
Emitting
Nostalgia and
A pin drop
Silence
In tranquility
At the platform
Circling round
Still the mind
Celebrating
Jolly company
Chatting
Same manner
Amused-
Laughing
And smiling
As the way
Chuckling
And giggling
Cuddling
And hugging
Holding so tight.
The heart
Making appeals
Stay please stay
For some time
Some time more
A day or two
Who wou’d care?
For you‘re gone
Have to live
All alone.
In a soothing
Tone-
In stillness
Thereupon
A cute reply
As if, heard-
Don’t have
The feelings
Any way
Sweet-heart
O’ my darling!
The tempest
Arousing
A squall
Of uproars
In deafness
Shouting
And bursting
Into tears
Resisting
The departure
And emotions
Over cast
So strong
Controlling
Them all alone
Standing still
At the platform
But-
The train h’d gone.

Beautifully sad and nostalgic, touches my heart with sorrow. Very well written, silently poignant. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
