Above All Poem by Aden Orie

Above All

Rating: 4.6

Total control
Above all
Would you stand tall?
Would you fall?
Perhaps gods the one
To catch that fall
You have to slip
Before you fall
You have to stand
Before you’re tall
You, them, me
Thoughts that sink
Ones that grow
Forever I shall always know
When I slip
He’s reaching out to
Me
So i shouldn’t worry?
Now I’m alone
The sinking thoughts that bare
Me
Happily?

I like how it was expressed. Alot of lessons written. I like the part that says 'You have to slip Before you fall' It is sooo true, I take that as, do not assume anything'

For a boy of your age this poem sounds highly matured voices; total surrender to God; it is not easy to achieve.......kudos. Great poem
