Meta Morphosis (RIP figure skating / hail and rain)
Abilene is a girl of the west.
She weaves her way through
the grass on her horse Best.
Rocky land vanishes and reappears
giving her race the ultimate test.
Now five stars deck her hair
because she's won this
race to become the greatest.
Abilene is going to aim for a
bull's eye with her Bowen arrow.
The prize is in her heart even
if she misses tomorrow.
She strike the target and misses sorrow.
Now she has enough green to
plant more than a furrow.
Abilene sings a lullaby to
the Hereford cows on a starry night.
A sharp sound sends their
hooves into a stampede fright.
Fireflies shed their ultra green light.
The glow is needed in this mad fight.
Abilene tames a rush of Herefords
and her thoughts turn to her
love for a city boy from Baltimore.
Its too bad he tried to
prove his love by
robbing a Diamond store.
The grass on the other
side isn't as green as
it was before.
Dancing to bullets is excruciating
but love is bound to hurt more.
Later Abilene runs through a grass
maze that's almost like her anxious mind.
Her hair is dark and wild
like a flying raven in the wind.
She is searching for her heart
but its going to be hard to find.
All the traps are set and
she's running blind.
