Abe My Father Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Abe My Father

Abe Lincoln is a man of honor
He believes in equality of color
He broke the chains of slavery
He fought for what he believes with bravery
He believed in freedom and equality
So he took his chance and opportunity
He challenged what others think is right
He took a stand and accepted the fight
Men and women rallied along his side
Along this dangerous and bloody ride
He believed that no one should be in chain
That no one should be abused and in pain
Abe Lincoln is the greatest God of all
His ideology would never die and never fall
Though the father already lies at rest
For humanity he knows whats best
For my father Abe Lincoln
