'Abandonne' Poem by Shania K. Younce

'Abandonne'

Cacter always told every-one his name.
For he was burly and chestnut brown.
He was a tall horse.
But, every-one did forget his name.
From then he called himself Abandonne.
Then he met a beautilful stallion.
She was pure white with red hooves and a black heart on her forhead.
Her name was Pawn.
Pawn asked, 'What is your name? '
'My name? , 'said Cacter.
'Well, yes.', said Pawn.
'My real name is cacter, but you should just call me Abandonne., 'said Cacter.
'Oh, no don't call yourself that., 'said Pawn.
'Cacter is a very nice name, 'said Pawn.
'You really think, so? , 'asked Cacter.
'I really do, 'replied Pawn.
No one ever for got Cacter's name again.
